How to Get Weed Smell Out of Rental Car
If you’ve smoked weed in a rental car, you might be wondering how to get weed smell out of rental car. It can be tough to get rid of the odor, but with these tips, you’ll be able to remove it in no time!
Air It Out
First, start by airing out the car. Open all the windows and doors to let the fresh air in. This will help to dilute the weed smell and get a lot of the smell out.
If you have time, you can also vacuum the car. This will help to remove any lingering weed that might have fallen on the floor, seats, or along the floorboards.
Next, try using an air freshener. I like to use little trees or even just a can of Febreze air freshener. It’s not going to get rid of the smell entirely if it’s too strong but it will help to mask the smell.
If the air freshener doesn’t work, the next best thing is an air sanitizer like Ozium. Ozium works by attaching and killing odor-causing particles, so it’s perfect for getting rid of the weed smell.
If all else fails, you can always use an ozone generator. Ozone generators are what big car rental companies use to air out cars that smell like smoke. You can buy them for less than $100 and you can even use them in your hotel room. Simply turn it on and let it run for a few hours to get rid of any odor.
Car Rental Company
Finally, if you’re still struggling to remove the weed smell, you can always bring your rental car back to the company and ask them to clean it for you. Most companies will be happy to do this for you, especially if you just picked it up, and it will ensure that your car smells fresh and clean!
